CYNTHIA CHIDIEBERE UKWU (Nee OHANWE) is an inspirational and motivational leader who is passionate about innovation & development. She engages in organizing transformational programs, summit, talk-shows, science competitions, exhibitions and conferences that has impacted the lives of tertiary and secondary school students.
Being a highly gifted and sensational public speaker/writer, she has successfully taken siege of the social network (precisely Facebook), which she effectively utilizes to radically advocate character, creativity and values among youths. These have resulted in thousands of testimonies amongst the young folks and elderly men/women all over the world who follow her judiciously on Facebook as fans and friends. This has made so many people from different part of the world seek for her advice, mentorship, consultation and guidance in practical life issues in other that they may maximize their potentials, irrespective of age, race, culture, religion, ETC.
She holds a SECOND CLASS HONOURS, UPPER DIVISION in POLYMER AND TEXTILE ENGINEERING from the FEDERAL UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY OWERRI, IMO STATE.
She audaciously fought against sexual harassment, examination malpractice, prostitution, abortion, bribery, corruption, students’ violence, drug abuse and cultism on campus.
She just concluded her one year National Service to the nation. She distinguished herself as she served in the INDEPENDENT NATIONAL ELECTORAL COMMISSION (INEC), where she worked directly with the Resident Electoral Commissioner of the Federal Capital Territory, Prof. Jacob S. Jatau, from April 2016 to March 2017.
SOCIAL WORK EXPEREIENCE/INFLUENCE
She is a trained Leadership Consultant and Facilitator, fully engaged in community development, peace advocacy and societal transformation.
She is a VOLUNTEER/ RESOURCE PERSON working with FAITHHOUSE ORGANIZATION FOR LEADERSHIP AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT (FOLCODE).
She has also worked with FAITHHOUSE LEADERSHIP ACADEMY (Secondary School) from 2014 to 2016 as a science teacher for Mathematics, Agricultural Science, and Biology.
She equally served as a life coach, tutor and mentor to a number of students in the school.
She is the serving national coordinator and pioneer president of CHASTITY AND VIRGINITY CLUB INT’L (a Girls Empowerment and Chastity Advocacy Group) that runs under FOLCODE; whose vision is “to restore and raise chaste girls who shall become icons and advocates of moral integrity for societal transformation”.
She is actively involved in human development, UN volunteerism, women and girl-child related issues, etc.
THE FAITHHOUSE ORGANIZATION FOR LEADERSHIP AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT (FOLCODE)
Under this Non-Governmental-Organization, she has actively participated in reaching out to the orphans, widows and less privileged, especially in the northern and eastern parts of Nigeria, where values and wealth have been added to these vulnerable group to give them a sense of belonging in the society.
FAITHHOUSE LEADERSHIP CAMPUS FELLOWSHIP (FALCAF)
She is an anchor/chairperson on the SEXPERIMENT summit which holds annually on Nigerian Tertiary Campuses, and has made a ripple-like effect positively in the lives of hundreds of campus students on the value of chastity, modesty and decency.
LEADERSHIP & INTEGRITY CLUB INTERNATIONAL (LIC INT’L)
She is a Lead-facilitator. Hundreds of students/pupils sit under her tutelage weekly. She trains on excellence, character development, potential discovery, skills and capacity building, creativity, innovation, vision analysis, self-esteem for leaders, goal setting and planning, entrepreneurship and personal development. She is a people developer.
